Structural masonry walls, built out of integrally colored masonry, are used exclusively for the exterior of this school. The individual buildings on this project are linked through the use of masonry lintels and dramatic rake walls. The use of center-scored block at these intersections allowed no room for error. The course heights had to be carefully maintained throughout the entire project.
